So I know I'm supposed to avoid all things hard, sticky, or tacky but i was overcome with munchies these last few days. Not the drug-induced kind, mind you, just being glutton. And I found a box of Cheezits. And ate them all.
Felt like they pressed the wrong way against my archwire and elastic chain on the lower left side. Eeek!

Hello readers! Happy New Year!
So on the 4th I went for my monthly adjustment. Nothing new to report just the regular changing of all the rubber ligatures, retying of the wire ligature on my upper right lateral incisor, replacement of the elastic chain from my lower left molar to lower left canine.
Althought my coil spring on the other side seems to be bothering me a bit... It's probaly nothing.
Minor soreness now and then. I should have gone to my six month appointment to my regular dentist in December however I was recently kicked out of my health insurance group and have been unable to be accepted into another one. Hopefully I'll be able to go see him in February when I may be better able to pay for his services out of pocket. Other than that I think I'm fine. Progress pics to come later :)

I've never wanted to bite into an apple so badly in my life. This is a craving that rivals any pregnant craving. Not that I've ever been pregnant I just wish I could eat an apple. I wish I could but I've been so afraid of breaking something or popping off a bracket. I have not have an apple in the entire sixe months that I've had my braces (unless you count applesauce or apple juice, which I'm not).
I've decided. Tomorrow when I wake up I am going to have an apple. I will cut it into thin slices but it will be an apple nonetheless! Never have I looked forward to waking up as I do now...

So it's been a day after my last adjustment and my right upper canine is killing me! Every time I go for an adjustment the bracket on that one tooth pops off when its time to change the ligatures and then I am subjected to the scraping and filing of the dental cement. I think this tooth is done and about to give up. Eating is difficult, brushing that tooth is difficult. It's like a germaphobe yelling, "Don't touch me!!"
